Nicki defends Anaconda Video!

Taylor Swift shakes up twitter! It all started when Nicki Minaj tweeted, "If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year :)" She was referring to the VMA snub. Anaconda wasn't nominated for a VMA EVEN THOUGH it broke a vivo record.

Taylor Swift got offended by this tweet and responded. "I've done nothing but love and support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.."

um...what...?

Obviously Taylor misunderstood Nicki's tweet and took it as a personal jab. Taylor then tweeted "If I win, please come up with me!! You're invited to any stage I'm ever on!!"

again, what?

We're not too sure whether that was meant to be an apology but Nicki responded with a spew of tweets that addressed the racial injustice in the industry and black feminism.

"I'm not always confident. Just tired. Black women influence pop culture so much but are rarely awarded for it."

"I'm so glad u guys get to see how this stuff works. Taylor took her music off spotify and was applauded. We launched Tidal and was dragged."

She also called out Ryan Seacrest for writing an article that clearly depicted Nicki Minaj as the villian in this entire Twitter Beef. IDK, I'm with Nicki on this one! Since her video DID break a record it SHOULD be nominated for video of the year?
